INTRODUCTION

I am a hard-rock geologist interested in the geology and geological evolution of terrestrial (rocky) bodies in our solar system, with past research having focused on 4 Vesta, Mars, and the Moon. I have an interest in the planetary conditions that allow different geodynamic regimes to form at their surfaces, such as plate tectonics, and the geological processes that allow a planet to develop life.

AREAS OF INTEREST

Planetary interiors, planetary habitability

RESEARCH GROUPS AND COLLABORATIONS

Active collaborations in space-related research with colleagues at the University of Cambridge, UK, University of British Columbia, Canada, and the Colorado School of Mines, USA
