Hira Virdee
INTRODUCTION
Hira Virdee is a Visiting Fellow within the Department of Engineering. His PhD is in Astrodynamcis, studying the motion of anthropogenic space objects and in particular their tumbling dynamics resulting from non-conservative forces.
His interests include space sustainability, space traffic management, space debris and the future of the space industry.
He's founder and CEO at Lumi Space, a precision space surveillance company. He's also an investor and advisor to Spaced Ventures.
His work at the university is in enabling and facilitating academia-commercial collaboration within MPLS.
